The Decemberists junto con Arcade Fire se encuentran entre las bandas que conforman el soundtrack para la película The Hunger Games, que se estrenará en marzo de este año. Mientras que el tracklist ha sido publicado en iTunes, la canción “One Engine” de The Decemberists ya se encuentra a la venta. El soundtrack completo se lanza el 20 de marzo e incluye a artistas como Kid Cudi, Neko Case, y las bandas antes mencionadas.
